Patented technology for flexible thin-film solar cells

PVflex has a unique, patented technology for the manufacture of copper-indium-gallium-diselenide (CIGS) solar cells based on an innovative non-vacuum process. The holistic production approach „from metal ribbon to finished module“ permits very inexpensive production of flexible solar modules. New lamination methods, developed by PVfex assure the long-term durability of our laminated CIGS cells.

In 2010 PVflex will introduce the first CIGS products. Industrial scale production and sale of flexible solar modules will begin no later than the first half of 2011.
